Morning Weather
Students record current weather data and formulate a weather forecast. They present their data and the forecast to the other students during a meal. |

Evening Weather
Students explore a weather concept or phenomenon (such as air pressure or thunder) and present a demonstration to the other students during a meal. |

Mealtime Waste Reduction Programs
Students explore a solid waste topic (such as plastics recycling or waste reduction strategies) and present an informational demonstration to the other students during a meal. |

Class Meeting Waste Reduction Activities
Students explore a variety of conservation topics during the evening class meeting time. The recycling process, understanding needs and wants and the connection between consumer consumption and waste generation are common topics. |

Overview Activities
Generally during the Friday morning of a full Outdoor School week, overview is a chance for students to review and apply knowledge and skills gained during field study. Activities vary from site to site and focus on students exploring real-world issues related to natural resources, demonstrating mastery of content, and teamwork. |
