The program has a long history rooted in the civil rights program and is modeled after the program designed by The Children's Defense Fund. Freedom School programs have sites all over the country and can be an opportunity to become immersed in anti-racist, social justice focused education and the partners who work to insure all students see academic success and understand the power of their voice.
