Conservation Crew Members
Northwest Youth Corps is accepting applications for Conservation Crew Members on a rolling basis. Members serve on conservation crews for terms varying from 2 months to 5 months and accomplish projects such as trail maintenance, invasive species removal, forest fuels reduction, and more. Our Young Adult programs are for people who are 19-26 years old and are full-time, seasonal opportunities. Members receive a living allowance during their term and an AmeriCorps education award upon successful completion of their term.
Field Leader
Northwest Youth Corps is accepting applications for Youth Field Leaders and Young Adult Crew Leaders on a rolling basis. Leaders supervise crew members on crews ranging from 5 to 10 people and accomplish projects such as trail maintenance, invasive species removal, forest fuels reduction, campground maintenance, restoration, and tree planting. Leaders are also responsible for implementing the Northwest Youth Corps education curriculum. Leaders must be at least 21 years old, have a valid Wilderness First Aid certification, and have a valid driver’s license. Youth Field Leaders receive a living allowance and an AmeriCorps education award; Young Adult Crew Leaders receive a daily rate.
