Students stand in a line. The teacher calls out a word (Outdoor School vocabulary words work well for this). The first person in line says the first letter of the word, the second person says the second letter, and so on. The student who says the last letter of the word turns to the following person and says, "Sparkle!" The person who was "sparkled" must sit down. A new word starts with the next person. If a wrong letter is said, that person sits down and the spelling continues down the line. The game continues until only one student remains standing.
