Outdoor School was established in 1966 and is one of the longest running and most successful environmental education programs in the country. In its 50 year run, Outdoor School has served over 300,000 sixth grade students from Multnomah County. The Multnomah Education Service District provides this service for all sixth grade students in the eight school districts in the county.
