Teacher only: All art paper used in these directions is 9”x12”. If you are putting the work into report folders with brads; --mark off a margin of 1” on the left side of the art paper (so students won’t draw or write in the area that won’t be visible after the booklet is put together.) --hole punch art paper ahead of time. --cut 3/4” off of the top of the art paper (so it will fit inside the booklet.)
Table of Contents (10 pts)
When you are completely finished with the pages of your memory book, decide what order you want them to be in. Number the pages of your memory book. Write a title for each page on the left side of the clipboard “Table of Contents” page. Write the page number on the right side. The Daily Schedule is back to back with the Table of Contents.

Names / Addresses (5 pts) Back to back.
Cabin Duties page (24 pts) Circle “Yes” for each duty that your cabin participated in and “No” for each duty that you didn’t have to do. Circle “yes” or “no” for whether or not you enjoyed the duty. Write two sentences about each of your duty experiences.
Cabin page (16 pts) Draw the inside of your cabin on a piece of art paper. Include bunks, windows, pictures/posters on the walls, rugs, etc. Then label the bunks with who slept where. Your teacher has a list of the kids names that were in your cabin at Outdoor School. Write three sentences describing your favorite memories of cabin times. Use a ruler to draw lines for your sentences.
Meal Time page (10 pts) On a piece of art paper draw meal time in the dining hall or an event that took place in the dining hall. (Weather Crew, Cabin Inspection, etc.) Fill the space. Color your picture with crayons, colored pencils, or felt pens.
Campfire page (16 pts) On a piece of art paper use colored chalk to draw/color a campfire with logs. Fill the entire space. Write out your favorite campfire song on a piece of notebook paper and then copy it with a fine point black felt pen onto the campfire page. Fill the space.
Recreation Page (20 pts) On a piece of art paper draw/color your own “RECREATION” (capitals) acrostic letters down the left side of the paper. Think of a word describing recreation for each letter in your “recreation” acrostic. Write each word after its letter and put a period or hyphen after each word. After the period or hyphen write a sentence about recreation that uses the word. Use a ruler to draw lines for your sentences.
Teacher only: 1. Use the pre-made recreation acrostic for students who were absent the day you did this in class, and for students who need modified assignments.
Wildlife Page (16 pts) On a piece of art paper draw a picture of your favorite wildlife activity and color it with crayons/colored pencils. Write the three most fascinating facts you learned about wildlife in three complete sentences. Use a ruler to draw lines for your sentences.
Soil Page (16 pts) On a piece of art paper draw a picture of your favorite soil activity and color it with crayons/colored pencils. Write the three most fascinating facts you learned about soil in three complete sentences. Use a ruler to draw lines for your sentences.
Botany Page (16 pts) On a piece of art paper draw a picture of your favorite botany activity and color it with crayons/colored pencils. Write the three most fascinating facts you learned about botany in three complete sentences. Use a ruler to draw lines for your sentences.
Water Page (16 pts) On a piece of paper draw a picture of your favorite water activity and color it with crayons/colored pencils. Write the three most fascinating facts you learned about water in three complete sentences. Use a ruler to draw lines for your sentences.
Map of the Site (26 pts) Sketch a map of your Outdoor School site on notebook paper. You can discuss it with the people at your table, but you each need to draw your own site map. This will be a rough draft. You will draw a final copy on art paper with a pencil, and then trace over the pencil with a fine point black felt pen.

Make xerox copies of the site map for students who were absent the day you did this in class, and for students who have modified assignments. 3. TAG kids can draw the site map to scale.
