Do you appreciate both nature and Joss Whedon? Is MacGyver a personal and professional hero of yours? Then Trackers Earth wants you for our supremely geektastic outdoor camps. You can teach in our Rangers Guild (wilderness survival), Wilders Guild (homesteading), Mariners Guild (fishing) or our Artisans Guild (live action role-playing camp). Take care though. Trackers is not for everyone. Our outdoor education staff most often says we're the family they've been looking for all their life. Yet on rare occasion they run away from us... screaming in terror. We immerse kids in the natural world by teaching them how to live through the zombie apocalypse. We come in costume with foam swords and speak in old English accents in our Realms of Cascadia. On occasion we pit students against one another in our Thunderdome. Did we mention we also make bows, kayak, blacksmith, cook all our meals over a wood fired kitchen and watch Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog in costume during staff training? Most importantly, we train real skills where kids carve with knives, loose arrows, make fire and flies. Yet this is not Lord of the Flies camp (actually it's more Lord of the Rings camp). Our safety and quality standards are intense and often overwhelming to folks new to our programs. We push the envelope on how much we do at camp and how compelling make it.
